my 2010 summer

Well my summer was a little boring, i stayed here all summer except i went with my boyfriend to barcelona for a week, its was okey but id like to go to more places, my parents were the ones who went to places because of there busness and i had to stay here taking care of the house, but the good part was that i went to all the fiestas that were here, they were fun, i also met some french boys and we had a barbecue with them we went shopping and we went to the gugenheim, i made a promise with them that next year i will go to toulouse to visit them. well i only went to the beach 2 because i could go, i had a probable with my foot and i could wet it or get sand in it, this summer was very sad because i broke up with my boyfriend and my dog died, the truth this year wasnt the best year at all.
i promised myself that this is going to be the last summer here, next summer im going to the interrail with my cusin but instead in train we are going in car, that is going to be a summer that i can talk about and have good stories to tell, but this summer there is nothing much to tell, only that i was laying in bed all day getting ready to go out at night and eating a lot of junk food, that was the way i gained about 4 kilos in the whole summer and that is very weird for someone to gain kilos then lose them and another thing i did is to be with my friend at my pool and just being lazy and i had nice house parties too,

wikis in plain english
this video is a basic introduction video about using wikis* group coordination* edit, save, link* avoid email
points out: pbwiki, wetpaint, and wikispaces
vid is all about group coordination. good basic overview.
a wiki is a collaberative web site that can be directly edited by anyone with access to it, a wiki is essentily a database for creating, browsing and searching information. The very nature of a "wiki" is that it can be edited by anyone who has the proper permissions; and because Wikipedia is completely open, ANYONE can edit ANYTHING (within reason). This is both the strength and weakness of Wikipedia; strength, because an open system invites many qualified, intelligent individuals; and weakness, because that same open system is easy to corrupt with bad information.

web safe colors

Web colors are colors used in designing web pages, and the methods for describing and specifying those colors. Authors of web pages have a variety of options available for specifying colors for elements of web documents. Colors may be specified as an rgb triplet in hexadecimal format (a hex triplet); they may also be specified according to their common english names in some cases. Often a color tools other graphic software is used to generate color values.
The first versions of mosiac and Netscape Navigator used the X11 color names as the basis for their color lists, as both started as X Window System applications.
Web colors have an unambiguous colorimetric definition, srgb , which relates the chromaticities of a particular phospher set, a given transfer curve, adaptive whitepoint, and viewing conditions These have been chosen to be similar to many real-world monitors and viewing conditions, so that even without color mangement rendering is fairly close to the specified values. However, user agents vary in the fidelity with which they represent the specified colors. More advanced user agents use color management to provide better color fidelity; this is particularly important for Web-to-print applications.
